The stone wool is a non-combustible material, whatever the standard or test method.
The low calorific value (doesn’t suffer from a significative lost of weight) and high point of fusion (greater than 1000 ºC) make the stone wool the major product to be associated to construtive solutions of passive protection. These solutions will ensure the desired RESISTENCE AGAINST FIRE (time/minutes).
Every constructive solution must be previously rehearsed, in order to ensure their own resistance against fire.
The inclusion of these products allows to avoid the formation and transmission of fire through the insulator and protect the isolated areas from the action of fire.
Among some several solutions, the products of TERMOLAN are able to perform when they are included in fire doors, sandwich panels and in the passive protection of structural elements.
